Despite Mortal Kombat 1 being out now on Switch, we haven’t seen official screenshots or trailers of the port. Now we know why.
The Switch is many things — but powerful like the Xbox Series X/S and PS5, it is not. Development of the MK1 Switch port was handled by a different team to those consoles, and it’s safe to say it might have needed more time in the oven.
Fans have taken to social media to showcase the graphics and character models of the Switch version of MK1 – and the outcome is delightful.
As one fan put it, «MK1 on the Switch is going to give us so many memes and cursed pics.»
