Well, this is amusing. NetherRealm Studios has been historically coy about the nature of its next project, although it’s been rumoured to be Mortal Kombat 12 for quite some time. Well, that game was just announced – during a Warner Bros Discovery earnings call. Don’t believe us? Well, check out the clip embedded below:
“There’s lots more to come,” the presenter reads. “Including the highly anticipated Mortal Kombat 12 and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. [These] games are also set for release this year with ambitious launch projections.”
Ironically, this earnings call was taking place while Rocksteady’s newest superhero game was featuring during State of Play.
We reckon there might be some Fatalities being unleashed in series creator Ed Boon’s office right now. Nevertheless, Mortal Kombat 12 is coming this year.

I wonder what they'll do for the story with Liu Kang resetting the timeline. Also Havik and Onaga better be in this game, I've been waiting for their return for 15+ years!
Totally would have preferred Injustice 3.
