It has been rumored for some time that Apple will be getting rid of the leather phone cases and watch bands. Replacing the leather will be the company's new FineWoven cases and watch bands with magnetic buckles, and today, we have more evidence we are finally seeing the end of the leather accessories as the Cupertino giant has started clearing stock.
Based on information obtained by Mark Gurman, it appears that Apple is now offering up to 90% off Hermes leather accessories and link bands. This sounds like the company has started to clear out all the stock that it still has. Gurman does mention that the deal between Apple and Hermes is still in place, but you cannot really go ahead and buy the accessories since everything is out of stock.

This is just another piece of evidence that suggests that Apple is finally getting rid of the leather cases and watch bands in favor of the new FineWoven material that they will be using going forward. However, what we still don't know is how this new move is going to impact the deal they have with Hermes. We cannot say for sure at the time of writing, but it is safe to say that we will get more details in the future.
