Intel 14th Gen Raptor Lake Refresh CPUs have once again been listed by another Canadian retailer with prices similar to 13th Gen chips.
So far, we have seen two listings leaked out, one of which was from a European retailer and had the biggest markup for 14th Gen CPUs over the 13th Gen CPUs, & one Canadian listing that had prices close to 13th Gen CPUs with a 3% markup on average. Now, another Canadian retailer has listed the 14th Gen Unlocked lineup along with their preliminary price points. Canada Computers lists down all 6 SKUs as spotted by Videocardz and the following are the details:
Based on the prices above, the Intel 14th Gen Raptor Lake Refresh CPUs seem to offer very similar prices as the 13th Gen SKUs. The biggest markup is between the Core i5-14600KF and the Core i5-13600KF but prices of Canada Computers are much lower than the PC Canada prices for all three generations of LGA 1700 CPUs. The Intel Core i9-14900K CPU isn't listed but it should be around the same 3.5% average price hike. Furthermore, this 3.5% hike could only reflect the preliminary prices since the chips are still a few weeks away from launch.
If Intel really keeps the pricing similar for 14th-Gen Raptor Lake Refresh CPUs, then the lineup may end up being very decent. Surely you will be able to get the existing lineup at discounted rates but if you were already going for any of the 13th Gen Unlocked parts, the refreshed lineup would give you a little extra performance. Furthermore, it is also nice to see that the 14700K will retain similar prices as its predecessor since the new chip offers more E-Cores and faster clock speeds, leading to 10% single-core and 20% multi-core performance uplifts.
