As got more amibitious with its crossover potential, a few potential partners began to be discussed among players. One that seemed to almost always pop up in «dream» scenario conversations was , which just a few years ago would have been an impossibility because of its sci-fi status alone. Now, with Universes Beyond and an increasing amount of properties joining the extended family, we're on the cusp of one of the biggest crossover events yet, with characters set to become tabletop fixtures on October 13, 2023.
The weight of some of these IPs can be quite heavy, though. People familiar with tend to be familiar — getting mechanics wrong (even if it's a simple matter of not neatly fitting a character's personality) or failing to explore the dynamic universe of would be a disaster.
