Capcom will host a Monster Hunter Wilds showcase next week so it can confirm «new details» straight from the game's producer Ryozo Tsujimoto. The livestream will take place on Wednesday, 23rd October 2024, at 3pm BST / 7am PT, the company announced.
What those fresh details will relate to has not been revealed, but given Capcom's efforts to have demos of their games available in the leadup to launch, it's possible Monster Hunter Wilds may receive one during the showcase — or maybe an online beta of some sort. There's also always the possibility of new monster reveals and weapon deep dives to go alongside such an announcement.

Maybe they're going to announce a playable demo/beta? World's beta was announced in October for taking place in December.

I got my release date, so I'll try to sloooowly back out of the marketing cycle to retain some surprises. I definitely have to block the monster hunter community on YouTube tho because, as much as I loved finding out about Espinas in Sunbreak, I would've loved it even more if I found out in the game.
