Capcom’s Monster Hunter Wilds, the next mainline title in the acclaimed action RPG franchise, launches next year for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. All platforms will get access from October 31st to November 3rd (with pre-loads available on October 30th at 8 PM PDT). However, if you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber, the beta is live now until October 30th, 8 PM PDT.
Among the included content is a character creator for your Hunter and Palico. You can also partake in a story trial to fight against Chatacabra or venture out into the Windward Plains to fight Doshaguma. Though data from the hunts won’t carry over to the game, characters created will, thus giving a headstart.
Cross-platform play is also active, allowing players to team up across all platforms. It’s worth noting that turning it off won’t just prevent you from matching with other platforms but with those on the same platform who still have it enabled.
Monster Hunter Wilds launches on February 28th, 2025, for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
The PlayStation Plus early access period for the Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta Test is live now and runs until Oct. 30, 8pm PDT / Oct. 31, 3am GMT!
