Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is officially coming to Game Pass this week.
Confirming recent reports, Microsoft announced on Tuesday that Activision’s shooter will join the subscription service on July 24.
It will be available through Game Pass for Console, PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate.
Modern Warfare 3 will be the first Call of Duty game to join Game Pass, while Black Ops 6 will be the first Call of Duty title to launch on the subscription service on day one, when it’s released on October 25, 2024.
Earlier this month Microsoft raised Xbox Game Pass prices and announced plans to introduce a new Standard subscription tier that doesn’t include day one releases.

The platform holder is also reportedly exploring the possibility of introducing more new Game Pass tiers.
It’s claimed that these include cloud-only and ad supported tiers, and potentially the return of a family subscription option, which was previously tested in a limited number of countries.
Titles which joined Game Pass earlier this month include Magical Delicacy, Flock, Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, Dungeons of Hinterberg and Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess.
