Rockstar Games has a wealth of titles in its back catalog that dedicated fanbases keep hoping to see more of years on from their releases, and Bully is surely at the top of that list. Interestingly enough, recent developments seem to hint at some signs of life for the long dormant IP- though perhaps not in the way that many may be hoping for.
Spotted by Gematsu, Bully was recently rated for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4, and PC in Taiwan. The assumption to many would immediately jump to would be that a remaster, remake, or re-release of some sort may be in the works, though it might be best not to get your hopes up too high.
And why exactly is that the case? Earlier this month, Rockstar Games announced that Bully was set to join the library of games that’s offered to subscribers of the GTA+ subscription service on August 20. It’s likely that these fresh age ratings are related to the same. It’s not exactly the revival that Bully fans will have hoped for, but hey- it’s something.
