Activision recently confirmed that this year's Call of Duty game is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, showing off the game's logo and not much else. Now Activision has revealed proper key art for Modern Warfare 2 using a massive 90,000 square foot advertisement that is supposedly visible-from-space, while also confirming when exactly the game will be available to the masses.
As announced by Activision, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 release date is October 28. When that date rolls around, Call of Duty fans will be able to jump into a new globe-trotting adventure with the returning Task Force 141, a group comprised of characters who should be familiar to those that played the 2019 Modern Warfare reboot or the original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare trilogy of games.

Activision confirmed the Task Force 141 members that will be featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 come launch on October 28. The Operators will be led by Captain John Price, who will be joined by Simon «Ghost» Riley, John «Soap» MacTavish, Kyle «Gaz» Garrick, and newcomer Colonel Alejandro Vargas, a Mexican Special Forces member. These characters will play key roles in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 campaign, and it's likely that they will be playable in multiplayer as well, though that has not been confirmed at the time of this writing.
