It's now been a while since Miles Morales became Spider-Man, and in that time he has had his fair share of superpowered adventures. He's gone from fighting crime on the streets of New York City, all the way to being at the front of a few multiversal catastrophes. Now a full-fledged Spider-Man, Miles carries on the legacy of his predecessor by beating yet another person powered by an Infinity Stone.
Miles Morales: Spider-Man #34, by Saladin Ahmed, Michele Bandini, and Taulin Clarke, has Miles and his clone, Shift, break into the headquarters of the hive mind Assessor. While inside, the pair are confronted by Quantum, the human host of the Space Stone and former operator for the Assessor. This marks the third time a Spider-Man has faced an individual powered by an Infinity Stone and won. Peter Parker's Spider-Man once outsmarted the Mind Stone, and also saw through the false world of the Reality Stone.

In the most recent comic, Miles and Shift make quick work of Quantum despite his teleportation powers. Quantum has the upper hand at first, but the combined attacks of the spider duo overwhelm him, and Miles deals the final blow with a venom shock to Quantum's head. This seemingly halts the Space Stone's abilities, as Quantum knocks Miles off and runs away rather than teleporting. Miles and Shift give chase, but they are stopped after stumbling upon painful recordings of themselves.
Although not as grandiose as Spider-Man's previous encounters with the Reality and Mind Stones, Miles easily defeating Quantum and incapacitating the Space Stone should not be overlooked. Not only has Spider-Man gotten the upper hand on half of the individual Infinity
