Microsoft Reportedly Apologizes to Enotria: The Last Song Developers

It has recently been involved in a bit of controversy with Microsoft after alleging that Microsoft had ignored them for over two months regarding their game. It was planned to be released on Xbox Series X|S, but it was delayed indefinitely just weeks before its stated release date of September 19. This comes after Jyamma Games claimed that Microsoft had "decided to ignore us" while attempting to navigate the certification process.

Jyamma CEO Jacky Greco has made multiple statements about the difficulties they've had trying to communicate with the Xbox games team regarding certification and finalizing the publishing of Enotria: The Last Song on their platform. One of their statements came after a fan implied that they were "paid by Sony." However, Greco then explained in the statement that this was false and that Xbox hadn't "answered us for two months. They don't care about Enotria, and they don't care about you... We've had the Xbox Series X|S version ready, but we can't proceed with submission and release. I spent a lot of money on porting, and they decided to ignore us."
Since these statements have picked up Steam, Xbox has officially responded to Jyamma Games, apologizing to the developer for their lack of communication. They are now working together to get the Xbox version of Enotria: The Last Song up and running as soon as possible.
Jyamma isn't the first game studio to have issues with Xbox and try to get its game ported to its platform. For example, Scott Junior, the Chief Product Officer of Funcom, explained that the porting process of Dune: Awakening is shaping up to be a challenge, as mentioned in an interview with VG247.
