Microsoft has been having fun with the physical designs of its current-gen Xbox consoles in some pretty amusing ways. In 2021, the company released a mini-fridge that looked like an Xbox Series X, and now, it seems like it has similar plans for Xbox Series S as well.
It won’t be a mini-fridge though, as you may have expect given what Xbox Series S looks like. Instead, it seems like the company is working on a licensed toaster that looks and is shaped like an Xbox Series S. That’s as per a report from French outlet Xbox Squad, which says the toaster will launch with limited stock sometime this year and will cost €60. Apparently, pre-orders for the device are also already open in some regions.
Interestingly, it also seems like the Xbox Series S toaster will be one of several products that will be released by Microsoft in a line of Xbox-themed gear, which will also include mouse pads, storage boxes, Halo-themed energy lamps, and more.
As for when this will be officially unveiled, that remains to be seen, though if the toaster is indeed planned for 2023, an announcement shouldn’t be too far away. Stay tuned for more updates.
