Disney Dreamlight Valley is set to roll out a ton of new content on May 1. This includes two new characters, as well as the introduction of the Thrills and Frills update and The Spark of Imagination, part of the Disney Dreamlight Valley expansion pass, A Rift In Time, which launched in December.
The expansion content that's already been released through the first wave of A Rift In Time has given players the introduction of new Disney characters like Rapunzel, Gaston, EVE, and Jafar, as well as a bunch of new customization items, critters to interact with, biomes to explore, and board games to play, among other things. But the most noteworthy addition to Dreamlight Valley's A Rift In Time has been Eternity Isle, an additional area that effectively doubled the size of the game's world, and which will also be getting some upgrades in May.
Dreamlight Valley's creators announced via Twitter that all of the new content would be coming to all platforms on the same day, May 1, including the introduction of Daisy Duck and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, a Disney character from 1927. The free Thrills and Frills update will include enhanced functionality when taking in-game selfies, which includes taking photos while on rides in a player's park, as well as a fishing excursion. Meanwhile, the expansion pass content's second of three acts will offer new rewards for upgrading the Royal Hourglass, in addition to new narrative content. But one big bonus is the A Day At Disney Star Path, a limited-time event that will introduce more Disney Parks content to the game, as well as the availability of more parks items from previous events arriving in the premium shop.
