Actor recently opened up about his homelessness in a heartfelt TikTok video. The actor, known for his role as Kid Loki in, shared the difficult circumstances he’s facing. He revealed that he has received little support from social services.
Jack Veal, who played Kid Loki in Loki, shared a TikTok video on December 3, 2024, revealing he is homeless.
In the 2-minute-4-second video, Veal said, “Hi. I’m a famous actor, I’m 17, and I’m homeless. You may know me from Loki, The End of the F***ing World*, or various other movies where I played important roles. I haven’t mentioned much about what’s been going on in my life, but I think it’s time to reveal the truth” (via The Direct).
Veal explained that he suffered physical and emotional abuse during his childhood, stating, “It was physical violence, emotional abuse, and et cetera.” He also shared his ongoing struggles with mental health, saying, “I have autism, ADHD, and am being screened for bipolar and psychosis.”
Veal further detailed his current dire situation, explaining that he cannot stay with his grandparents due to his grandfather’s terminal illness. He described his living conditions, saying, “I’ve been sleeping in the streets. I am currently sleeping in a trailer that has smashed-in windows, is unsafe, and is two hours away from my work. This makes it hard to get to work every day. It’s difficult. Life is hard. At the moment, I have nothing else.”
He pleaded with his fans, saying, “I am on my knees begging for you guys to just share this, do something, spread the message of how the government are treating kids.” Veal closed the video by requesting, “Please share, please share it with whoever you can. You don’t have to pay me anything, I don’t need anything. I just need you to make this go as viral as possible.”
Since his appearance in Loki, Veal has not been seen on screen. His last role was in the 2022 episode of The Peripheral on Amazon Prime Video.
