The Punisher's new agreement with The Hand just gave the antihero his own powers, as he gains the dark abilities of The Beast. In Punisher #2 by Marvel Comics, Frank Castle has officially been named the Fist of the Beast, which comes with a set of powers that make him channel the demon's sin-seeing ways. With the abilities, the Punisher continues his dark evolution as the literal Beast within him starts to takeover.
In the current Marvel Comics series,the Punisher currently works alongside The Hand after the elusive ninja organization offered him his heart's biggest desire: to be with his wife again. After resurrecting his dead wife, Frank Castle agreed to join the organization, sporting a new logo as its new Fist of the Beast. Now, the Punisher has officially obtained the title, which comes with a dark new set of powers that hint that the deal he made with The Hand might be more costly than initially believed, as it could change the antihero forever.

In Punisher #2 by Jason Aaron, Jesus Saiz, Paul Azaceta, Dave Stewart, and VC's Cory Petit from Marvel Comics, the Archpriestess of The Hand begins Frank Castle's next step in becoming The Fist of the Beast. In a meeting with an Apostle of War where he's presented with a powerful piece of gamma-fueled technology, Punisher rejects the offer and tells him he can see through his mirage. The Beast begins to overtake the Punisher as his eyes become red and energy pulses around his body. His new powers make him tell the Apostle he can see his past and future sins.
