It's fair to say that Pokemon fans are some of the most artistically talented people of any fandom in pop culture. This is regularly reinforced by the near-constant stream of impressive Pokemon artwork that regularly make the rounds around the internet. One creation in particular has been catching the eye of quite a few fans: an origami figure of Metagross.
Originally introduced in the third generation of Pokemon, Metagross is a Steel/Psychic-type evolving from Metang. The final evolution of Beldum, the powerful Pokemon was unfortunately one of the omitted creatures in the franchise's most recent entry Pokemon Legends: Arceus. However, Metagross is catchable in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, and is one of the more powerful non-legendary Pokemon in the game.

The Pokemon fan artist in question goes by the name of ino87, and has posted an image showcasing the impressively detailed origami rendition of Metagross. The artist manages to recreate nearly every detail of the extremely strong and uniquely-shaped Pokemon. Its four legs are all accurately positioned, as is their proportion to the main disc-shaped head/body. The origami Metagross's color, while more vivid than usual, still gets close to the Pokemon's distinct turquoise coloring. In addition to incorporating the metallic cross, one of the most admirable aspects of the artwork is Metagross's overall stance, with its thin claws supporting its entire body.
