While the Pokemon series contains nearly 900 Pokemon, some are rarer than others, such as Legendary Pokemon. This select group is reserved for some of the most powerful and often difficult-to-find pocket monsters in the franchise. However, those lucky enough to discover them are rewarded with a Pokemon that is often very effective in battle. One of these Legendaries found in the Pokemon series that is quite recognizable by fans is Lugia.
First seen in Gen 2, Lugia is a Psychic/Flying-type Pokemon. In addition, it is a Legendary and the game mascot of Pokemon Silver, Pokemon Soul Silver, and Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness. With a large white body and a pair of enormous wings, it is understandable why this dragon-like Pokemon has become popular with many gamers. Recently, one fan attempted to see what this beautiful pocket monster would look like in a piece of impressive albeit unusual artwork.
Pokemon Fan Art Combines Butterfree and Nidoran
In a post on Reddit, a user named bonzurr shared a group of pictures of a neon light based on the Pokemon series they had created. What made this custom-built light stand out was that it featured the design of the Shadow form of Lugia. Impressively, the light managed to feature many of the iconic aspects of the design of the Pokemon, including its large wings and even the spines on its back. In addition to the impressive look, the Reddit user showed off the artwork in different lighting. For example, one particularly stunning shot displayed the neon light in a dark room filled with smoke, revealing the blueish hues of the design.
