Famed James Bond producer Barbara Broccoli shares an update on their search for the next James Bond actor. Originally created in 1953 by novelist Ian Fleming, the seductive spy took the world by storm with his first feature film Dr. No in 1962 starring Sean Connery as the MI6 agent. After six lead actors and 25 films spanning the better part of seven decades, EON Productions is preparing for their next chapter in the James Bond franchise.
The latest entry in the film series, No Time To Die, saw the conclusion of the Daniel Craig era of Bond. Beginning in 2006 with the wildly popular Casino Royale, the actor was the face of Bond for 15 years until his version of the character's demise in the last movie. With Craig's Bond most assuredly dead, the producers, Broccoli and her half-brother Michael G. Wilson, are working on another way to resurrect the character for a new generation of fans.

While at a British Film Institute in London (via Deadline), Broccoli provides an update regarding EON Productions' search for the next James Bond actor. The producer admits that, so far, there are currently no actors being considered for the role, as they are focusing on how to frame the next chapter of the franchise.
