Warning! Spoiler for Avengers Forever #6 by Marvel Comics
A new variant of Black Panther is coming to the Marvel Universe, with a potential connection to Superman. In a brand new tease for Avengers Forever #6 by Marvel Comics, Vibranium Man's anticipated debut reveals a first look at his origin, which seems strikingly similar to the Man of Steel's escape from Krypton. Vibranium Man, like Superman, seems to have been born in the midst of tragedy, as his parent's home crumbles as he's sent away before its impending doom.
Superman has one of the most famous origins in comics, as his earliest life away from Earth has rarely been changed in different retellings by DC Comics. Famously, Kal-El's parents put him on a rocket ship and sent their infant child on a path towards Earth as Krypton was on the verge of being completely annihilated. As Kal-El was sent away, Krypton exploded behind him, destroying the planet that the powerful hero came from. Now, a new Black Panther variant hero is getting a similar origin, suggesting his life as a hero was also built from tragedy.

In a new preview of Avengers Forever #6 by Jason Aaron, Jim Towe, and Guru-eFX from Marvel Comics (H/T ComicBook.com), readers are introduced to Vibranium Man. However, the multiversal Black Panther variant's origin seems to be a new riff on Superman's own tragic beginnings. In the unlettered pages, readers see a young baby being put into a rocket ship and sent into space as Wakanda burns.
More preview pages show the hero in action, as he uses his own electric-like spider-web to take on a group of White Panthers. Vibranium Man seems to have equally as advanced tech as the original Black Panther,
