Among the many showcases planned in the coming days is the Future Games Show Summer Showcase on June 10th, presented by GamesRadar. One of the major games that will appear is CI Games’ Lords of the Fallen, the follow-up to the 2014 Souls-like, which is out later this year.
Per the event’s official Twitter, viewers will “Learn more about the parallel realms of Axiom and Umbral” and see some of the “colossal boss battles” that await. Confirmed in December 2014, Lords of the Fallen has seen numerous delays and shifted from Defiant Studios to Hexworks.
Developed on Unreal Engine 5, it’s aiming to be “Dark Souls 4.5,” and releases on October 13th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Stay tuned for more details this weekend, as the Future Games Show Summer Showcase takes place at 10 AM PT. While other reveals have yet to be confirmed, there will be 50 games over 70 minutes, with actors Yuri Lowenthal and Laura Bailey, who play Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson in Marvel’s Spider-Man, hosting.
