In Little Witch in the Woods, players will need to get the Roaster Handle to repair the broken Roaster in their potion crafting workshop. The Roaster is used to prepare certain items before they can be added to the Cauldron to concoct a potion. Before players will be able to find the missing handle, they will first need to clear the Giant Prickly Vines blocking the pathway into the village. Mechanically, this is similar to when players need to complete Willy's quest to unlock Ginger Island in Stardew Valley.
In order to access the village and clear the vine blockade, players will need to rescue the fox trapped in a spiderweb in the woods using a Maple Herb. Once rescued, players will be able to search that area for a Boom Potion and use that potion on the Giant Prickly Vines. The Boom Potion will cause a fragment of the vine to fall off, and the player can use that fragment to learn that the vines die in moonlight. From there, the player will need to concoct a Sunlight Potion to rid the Grape Tea Tree of the butterflies, so the tree blooms at night and sprouts Moonflowers. Finally, with those flowers harvested, players will be able to craft Lunar Oil and remove the vines blocking the way into the village for good in the Little Witch in the Woods RPG.
