Sony Santa Monica Studio creative director Cory Barlog has said the God of War Ragnarök release date hasn’t been delayed again, which would mean the game’s still on track to arrive in 2022.

Earlier this month Gamereactor claimed to have heard from European sources that God of War Ragnarök was being delayed to 2023, although Bloomberg subsequently claimed this was not the case.

Echoing similar comments he made in April, Barlog added: “I promise things will be shared at the earliest possible moment they can be.”
He also said that were it up to him, he’d share all the information about the game when he found out about it, “but it is not up to me”.
