Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth launches in just three days, but the reviews are live and glowing. Already, it has an average of 91 on Metacritic, and 90 on Opencritic, earning it a Mighty rating with 100 percent of critics recommending it at the time of writing.
In our review, Lead Guides Editor Meg Pelliccio gave it a full five stars, boldly claiming that it "raises the bar in every way to take its rightful place as the new peak of the series." That's high praise when it's contending with the likes of 0.
It's hard to overstate just how important a landmark this is for the Like A Dragon series - a true passing of the torch, finally, and a game worthy of succeeding the action-based legend that preceded it - ScreenRant.

IGN also shares Meg's sentiment that Infinite Wealth is Yakuza at its peak, writing that it's not "just the best turn-based Like a Dragon game, it's one of the greatest games in the entire series".
Game Rant meanwhile praised its "entertaining combat system" and "gorgeous" visuals, concluding that players "won't be able to help themselves from smiling and laughing along with Ichiban Kasuga and the rest of the cast". The turn-based system is something that has been praised across myriad reviews, as Games Radar also highlighted its "fantastic combat system" in what it calls "one of the best RPGs in years".
