Following the footsteps of Pokémon GO and its plethora of events, Niantic has announced a Monster Hunter Now Halloween event! Get ready to pick pumpkins, or at least rocks painted like pumpkins that have appeared across the map!
You have time ahead to prepare for this event, with the festivities not beginning until October 25th at 9 AM local time. The Monster Hunter Now Halloween Event will launch with an exclusive quest to gather certain materials and slay certain monsters to be awarded Pumpkin Tickets.
Pumpkin Tickets are the lifeblood of this event. This limited-time currency can be exchanged for Jack-O-Lantern equipment upgrades. Plus, from October 28th, a Halloween Medal Acquisition Quest will become active. During this, the feathered terror Kulu-Ya-Ku will be patrolling the maps with an increased spawn rate whilst carrying a pumpkin-painted rock.
The event-exclusive gear is, of course, the stylishly haunted Jack-O-Head armour featuring the Solidarity Skill. The armour is definitely bragging rights as it’s only around during this event and never again! So make sure you check into your MHN account during the run of the Halloween Event to get all the rewards available.
The gear isn’t all this event has to offer. In the in-game store, players will be able to purchase two limited-time packs which include the unique Carving Knives among other exciting loot. To find out more you can check out all the details shared by Niantic through the MHN website.
