Paramount Home Entertainment has finally shared the Blu-ray and DVD release date for the upcoming home video release of Paramount+’s first Sonic the Hedgehog spin-off series. This comes after two months since series debuted its first 8-episode season last April 26.
“The spin-off will follow Knuckles on a hilarious and action-packed journey of self-discovery as he agrees to train Wade as his protégé and teach him the ways of the Echidna warrior. The series takes place between the films SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2 and SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 3,” reads the synopsis.
Knuckles will be available for purchase on Blu-ray and DVD starting on Tuesday, September 10. Simultaneously, Paramount will also be releasing a limited edition Blu-ray steelbook for the Idris Elba-led spin-off series.

Knuckles hailed from head writer and executive producer John Whittington, with Sonic the Hedgehog director Jeff Fowler helming the pilot episode. The series starred Adam Pally, Edi Patterson, Julian Barratt, Scott Mescudi, Ellie Taylor, Christopher Lloyd, Cary Elwes, Stockard Channing, Paul Scheer, and Rob Huebel. It was executive produced by Elba, Neal H. Moritz, Toby Ascher, and Toru Nakahara, with Paramount Pictures and Sega of America producing.
