Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream release date set as October 4th
thesixthaxis.comBandai Namco has announced that Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream will be released on October 4th. This upcoming game in the Sword Art Online series concentrates its main focus on multiplayer gameplay, enabling up to twenty players to collaborate and confront the formidable challenges found within Alfheim Online. Additionally, a new story trailer has been unveiled, providing a glimpse into the story that players will encounter in Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream.
The gist of the story is that the Galaxia system, which powers Alfheim Online, has become corrupted and uncontrollable. This malfunction leads to the collision of different versions of the world, creating an entirely new reality. Characters from various Sword Art Online arcs are brought together in this unique realm, causing former enemies to join forces as they strive to reset the timeline and return to their original worlds.
Pre-orders have gone live today for the three versions of Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream, which are the Standard, Digital Deluxe, and Digital Premium editions. The standard edition will include the game and a pre-order bonus of the Demon King costume set. The Digital Premium edition includes the game, the Character Pass Volume 1 giving access to DLC 1 and DLC 2 of Worlds Beyond, a bonus stamp set, and the Prism Heart costume set. The Digital Deluxe edition includes all of the above plus the digital artbook and soundtrack, and the Wild Joker dress. Those who pre-order the Premium or Deluxe versions will get three days early access too, along with the Demon King costume set.
Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream has been confirmed for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch.
