One more European retailer has listed the AMD Ryzen 9000 CPUs, 9900X, 9700X & 9600X, ahead of their launch with preliminary pricing.
As we move closer to the official launch date of the AMD Ryzen 9000 "Zen 5" processors, we see that some of these chips are already available for sale in various retail stores almost daily. This has been usual with the past generations but it provides some crucial information on the company's official pricing of the upcoming processors in various regions. The French retail website PC21.fr recently listed three SKUs based on the Zen 5 architecture. These are the AMD Ryzen 5 9600X, Ryzen 7 9700X, and Ryzen 9 9900X. The 9600X is listed at €350,60, 9700X at €454,13, and 9900X at €567,42. All the listed chips are currently in stock with a few pieces left for each in the inventory.
Converting the prices to USD, the AMD Ryzen 5 9600X CPU turns out to be at $381.72, Ryzen 7 9700X at $494.43, and Ryzen 9 9900X at $617.78. So, with a base 20% VAT, the actual price in USD should be closer to $300 for the 9600X, around $400 for the 9700X, and somewhere around $490-$500 for the 9900X.
Comparing the recent listing of 9600X at DealTarget for $295.43, the processor is roughly at a similar price tag. While the more recent leak indicates the Ryzen 9600X to cost $229.
