Newegg & Japanese retailers have now started listing the AMD Ryzen 9000 "Zen 5" Desktop CPUs ahead of their launch in the coming weeks.
As we approach the official launch date of AMD's Zen 5-based Ryzen 9000 CPU lineup, multiple retailers have started listing the new CPUs before they are officially available. The new listings include Newegg and two Japanese retailers, where you can find all four announced SKUs in the Zen 5 lineup for desktops. These are the Ryzen 5 9600X, Ryzen 7 9700X, Ryzen 9 9900X, and the flagship Ryzen 9 9950X CPUs.
On Newegg, the CPUs appear without any prices and are categorized under "New Release". While the details of the CPUs are available, the processors themselves aren't available for sale until Aug 15.
The product pages explicitly state "...Order starts at 6:00 am PST, Thu Aug 15" indicating the exact date and time users will see the Add to Cart or Buy buttons. The 9700X and 9600X will both launch on the same day before the high-end SKUs and Newegg clearly states the date and time for both as "...Order starts at 6:00 am PST, Thu Aug 8"
The Japanese retailers have all the AMD Ryzen 9000 CPUs with their prices mentioned. The first one is shared by the popular leaker @momomo_us with prices as follows:
As you can see from the prices in Japanese Yen, the processors look fairly expensive compared to the official MSRP of these chips. This is due to the taxes and the shipping fee that results in such a hike.
