Something for the Weekend – 20/07/24
We’ve had our little glimmer of hot weather at the end of this week, and now much of the country can look forward to muggy conditions and thunderstorms, so… I guess that means I should decide what games to play today and tomorrow? Maybe looking back at this week of gaming news and reviews will help me decide.
We had a healthy batch of games in review, but also keep an eye out for our finalised Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail review, which will drop this weekend.
Elsewhere, Aran stepped out onto the pitch of EA Sports FC 25, and particularly enjoyed the new five-a-side Rush mode.
I went hands on with the Apple Vision Pro, shortly after its launch in Europe, and had some thoughts about how Apple’s… vision for virtual and augmented reality needs to adapt to handle gaming.
Rounding things out as always, What We Played featured TMNT: Splintered Fate, Kunitsu-Gami & Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail.
