Sonic's Lego journey started as a fan submission to Lego Ideas and is now a collection that is growing at a very fast rate. Shadow got his first Lego set at the end of 2023, Knuckles first set launched on New Year's Day, and now both characters will be getting their very own BrickHeadz. Both revealed by Lego via their new store listing, the set will be available to buy from February 1, 2024.
Lego's BrickHeadz collection turns iconic characters into Lego sets as opposed to Minifigures, although in this case both characters already have their own Minifigures. Sonic and Tails already have BrickHeadz sets, available separately, and will soon be joined by Shadow and Knuckles. The only caveat seems to be the new pair of BrickHeadz will have to be bought together and not available separately.
There's every chance that changes when the set launches, but for now, the listing suggests if you want the BrickHeadz Shadow then you'll also need to buy Knuckles, and vice versa. The two together will cost $19.99, so twice the price as just one BrickHeadz figure, and consist of 298 pieces. A smaller set that's a little more elaborate than the most basic Lego sets, but not as intense as some of the bigger and more expensive ones. The perfect stepping stone for younger Sonic Lego fans.
