A Gamescom announcement that got away from us was King of Meat — a four player co-op action game in development at British studio Glowmade. Backed by Amazon Games and coming to PS5, it looks like utter chaos in its debut trailer above.
King of Meat is a gameshow of sorts, tasking your team with getting through nefarious dungeons and fighting off all kinds of baddies. The twist is that each dungeon is made by another player. Yes, you can create your very own levels full of treachery and danger, and other players will have to fight their way through it.
It's not a brand new idea, but it's always good fun seeing what other users cook up in games like this. King of Meat's dungeons look like a mix of platforming challenges and combat arenas, and you can fully customise your character — not only how they look but how they play, choosing a weapon, attacks, and of course, dances.
There's potential here for some mad fun, but what do you think? Are you interested in King of Meat? Tell us in the comments section below.
