Warning: Contains a preview for Iron Man #21
Tony Stark aka the Invincible Iron Man has proven once again that being a hero requires more than an advanced battle suit and a smug attitude. In a preview for Iron Man #21, Tony is confronted with a very dangerous emergency and reacts in the worst possible way.
Tony Stark has always been an atypical hero, as his conceited and egocentric personality often clashes with the expected behavior of heroes, who should always put other people, and their safety, first. Among Marvel's greatest heroes, Iron Man has perhaps made the most mistakes, including his «Armor Wars,» his position in the first superhuman Civil War and more personal issues such as substance addiction. However, Tony's story is also one of redemption, and he's shown himself time and time again to be capable of acts of selfless heroism, including putting his own life on the line.

Despite the criminal's warning, "No need to be a hero," Tony immediately suits up and confronts him, letting the terrorist use his gun inside the plane. The bullets bounce off Iron Man's armor but hit the plane's cabin, causing a loss of pressure and a potentially disastrous result. Enjoy this preview of Iron Man #21, courtesy of Marvel Comics.
