Intel's Core Ultra 7 265KF "Arrow Lake" CPU has been tested and ends up almost as fast as the Ryzen 9 7950X in Geekbench 6 benchmark.
The Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF is going to be the second fastest Arrow Lake CPU within the Core Ultra 200K Desktop lineup. The chip will feature 20 cores, 20 threads, a base clock of 3.9 GHz, and boost clocks of up to 5.50 GHz. The chip will also carry 33 MB of L3 cache and feature a 125W (PL1) TDP.
The CPU has been tested on a Gigabyte Z890 AERO G motherboard using the "High Performance" profile with 32 GB DDR5 memory and features some strong performance numbers.
In single-core tests, the Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF "Arrow Lake" Desktop CPU scored 3219 points and in multi-core tests, the CPU scored 19,433 points.
The single-core performance puts it on top of the single-thread performance charts within Geekbench 6 while the multi-threaded performance is almost on par with the AMD Ryzen 9 9900X though just a few percent points ahead of its predecessor, the i7-14700K. For example, the Core Ultra 7 265KF ends up 9.3% faster than the Core i7-14700K in single-core tests but only 1% faster in multi-core tests.
