How To Unlock The Sawmill in V Rising
The Sawmill is a workstation in V Rising used primarily for refining lumber into wooden Planks. Vampire adventurers will need Planks to upgrade their gear at a Simple Workbench, allowing them to reach the required Gear Score for mining Copper Ore. Furthermore, Planks are used in a plethora of recipes in the Castle Build menu. Therefore, if players wish to advance in the V Rising crafting tree and character progression, the Sawmill is a mandatory step forward in timber technology.
First, to unlock the Sawmill as a buildable structure in V Rising, the player will need to progress through the «main campaign» to the quest, "Fortify." During this mission, Vampires are tasked with constructing and placing three Palisades around the territorial boundaries connected to their Castle Heart. Afterward, they will need to assemble a Wooden Coffin and a Wooden Stash for their base. Once these three tasks have been completed, they will unlock the Blueprint: «Basic Crafting & Refinement,» which grants access to the Sawmill schematics.

Accordingly, during the following main quest, "Getting Ready for the Hunt," fans must "Construct and interact with a Sawmill" to continue their journey as a V Rising Vampire.
