One of the new characters introduced into Vampire Survivors, Iguana Gallo Valletto (also just Gallo), uses the Clock Lancet as a starting weapon. That sentence probably should have ended with an exclamation point. This semi-useful weapon was given an evolved form along with Gallo's introduction into the game, and a very powerful evolved form at that. Unlocking Gallo is a four-step process, with the first step being unlocking and completing the new stage, Moongolow.
The Moongolow stage is not only fun, but it's also a great place to collect large amounts of gold. Every passive item is available as a pick-up item in Moongolow. The player can use this stage to try different builds to see if they work as well as imagined. The first time a player attempts the Moongolow stage they need to use one of the standard characters in the game.
Using a secret character will prevent the player from advancing beyond Moongolow into the Holy Forbidden (also called Hidden Ground) at the 15-minute mark; so players should avoid picking Exdash, Toastie, Leda, Noob, or Red Death. At minute-14, the screen will begin to warp around the edges. This warping becomes more pronounced over the next minute and by minute-15, the character is transported to the Holy Forbidden.
