Monster Hunter: Rise was a pretty in-depth game in its own right but the latest DLC, Sunbreak, has added a ton of content to the release, including the addition of new crafting materials. Players will now have access to Master Rank armors, as well as upgraded weapons, which they can make once they are introduced to the new zone, Elgado. Many of the materials for these new armors and weapons will come from monsters themselves, but there are a handful of necessary items that players will need to seek out elsewhere.

A great example is Awegite Ore, a new ore type that shows up in a handful of recipes, including the upgraded Kamura-style weapons. Unfortunately, finding the ore itself can prove tricky for some as it isn't located in the newest zone, as one might think. Here's how players can grab this new material.
Although players may assume that Awegite Ore shows up in the newest Jungle locale, it's actually found exclusively in the Shrine Ruins of Kamura. In order to obtain it, players will need to sift through the Mining Outcrops there. Players should keep in mind that Awegite Ore is a Rarity 8 material, and it isn't as common as other ores found in the area. The uncommon material won't drop nearly as often as some materials, so players will need to find numerous Mining Outcrops and hope luck is on their side.
Thankfully, there are 11 different gathering spots sprinkled around the Shrine Ruins, so players have many chances to scoop up some Awegite Ore during each gathering run. The following map shows the approximate locations for each Mining Outcrop in the Shrine Ruins.
Players are free to tackle these ore gathering locations in any order, and they will respawn
