How to Unlock Essence Transfer in Diablo Immortal
Essence Transfer is a gear-related mechanic in Diablo Immortal that allows players to transfer the Legendary perk of one piece of equipment to another. This procedure involves a two-part process of Extraction and Inheritance. Extraction is the removal of a Legendary power from a gear piece but results in the destruction of the item. However, materials and gems are automatically salvaged in Diablo Immortal during Extraction. Next, Inheritance is the act of taking the Extracted Legendary Essence and imbuing it into another item. Inheritance is free of cost, while Extraction will set back the player 3,000 Gold.
An example of why adventurers would want to use Essence Transfer on their Legendary-empowered gear is if they acquire a weapon that is similar to their currently equipped armament but possesses superior base stats. However, their weapon might have a better Legendary than the one in their inventory; therefore, it would be more practical if they extracted the Essence from their current armament and had the new weapon Inherit the same Legendary.

Accordingly, to unlock Essence Transfer, players must speak with Zamina, an NPC who offers Extraction and Inheritance services for Legendary equipment Essence in Diablo Immortal. Zamina can be found in Westmarch, the game's hub city. Adventurers will reach this city after saving Wortham and progressing through the starting section of the main campaign.
After arriving in Westmarch, head northwest of The Wolf Gate into the Rakkis Plaza. From the center of the plaza, walk slightly westward to encounter Zamina, who stands directly north of the Rakkis Plaza Waypoint. Speak with her to open the Essence Transfer
