The latest Pokémon GO event is just around the corner with developer Niantic revealing details for the game's upcoming Ultra Adventure Week. Pokémon GO's June schedule is packed with many different events including the recently-begun and long-running Season of GO event that replaces Season of Alola after the latter came to an end after three months. This past weekend also saw the long-awaited Pokémon GO Fest 2022.
When the global pandemic first hit back in 2020, the developer made a number of changes to Pokémon GO that allowed the community to continue playing while remaining socially distant. This had the unintended but welcome consequence of balancing the game for players no matter their location in the world. Now that pandemic restrictions are lessening everywhere, Niantic has expressed multiple times its desire to bring its title's focus back onto in-person engagement even though this has a tendency to punish rural-based Pokémon GO players. While fans have successfully delayed these changes in the past through protest, Niantic finally pushed ahead with incentivizing in-person gameplay last month while simultaneously disincentivizing the play style cultivated since March 2020. June will be the first full month the community experiences these controversial changes.

One of the Pokémon GO events that will be impacted is the fast-approaching Ultra Adventure Week, which will run from Tuesday, June 7 at 10 a.m. to Sunday, June 12, at 8 p.m. local time. Pokémon GO recently provided details on what players can expect, including the debuts of Tyrunt and Amaura to the augmented reality title as well as the Ultra Unlock bonus of Unown F appearing in Pokémon
