When opening your Great Vaults this week, casters should keep an eye open for a weapon that might be their overall best in slot for the season… which is an off-hand!

Blizzard has just pushed hotfixes that have nerfed this weapon significantly. With the changes, the Fateweaved weapons are still the best Hero Track weapons but now fall short against Myth track variants. You can see comparison sims here.

While being only an off-hand, Fate Weaver has a special on-use. The item can be used once to summon a Fateweaved Weapon, either Fateweaved Needle or Fateweaved Mallet, depending on your spec.
Note that once you generate your weapon, you don't need to equip the off-hand to use the weapon! You are free to equip a better off-hand while using the cantrip weapon.
There isn't a lot of information on Fate Weaver right now, all that is known is that it is a special cantrip weapon that drops from Delves. There are two confirmed sources from it and one speculated one. The first confirmed source is that it can be found inside Hulking Raptorial Claw, dropped by Zekvir after you encounter him in random delves. Looting it there makes it drop on the Champion track, meaning it can reach up to item level 619.
Meanwhile, you can also obtain it from looting Delve Maps, which provides a Hero Track version of the item, which can be upgraded up to 626. It is also believed that this item can appear in the Great Vault, however, we don't know that for sure yet.
