Dungeons typically contain a giant Pal as a dungeon boss and other rare Pals and hostile Syndicate NPCs. They are essentially designed to challenge you and your team of Pals.
The game recommends you only attempt your first dungeon at Level 13 or higher, so you should train up your coolest early-game Pals and get to grips with the game’s mechanics. However, nothing is stopping you from entering a dungeon before you hit Level 13 if you’ve crafted good gear and have a strong team. Your starter choice in doesn’t matter much in the long term, and there are some great early-game starter Pals.
