Spider-Bots make a return to the series in as collectibles you can grab all across the map. In previous tiles, Spider-Bots were used for specific stealth missions, allowing you to listen into conversations and disarm bombs from afar. In, they have less importance in missions but instead have their mini-side quest, which ends when you have collected all of them throughout the city. Each one has its unique design, which is sure to make them a favorite for long-time Spidey fans, so if there is one, in particular, you are after, you can search the specific district it is in.
You can carry on playing after beating 's main story, which is relatively short, and there are a large number of collectibles to find across the various Boroughs of New York City to keep players swinging for a long time. These range from the Prowler's Stashes, Photograph opportunities, Marko's Memories, as well as the illusive Spider-Bots. While you will not receive many bonuses for finding all of the Spider-Bots, they are part of the requirement for anyone looking to 100% game.
Spider-Bots are the hardest collectible in as they are the only ones that aren't shown on the main map, meaning they will take players a lot more time to find each one. There are 42 different Spider-Bots spread across the 14 different districts that can be explored in 's large map, which is twice the size of the original game.
