This leader of the infamous criminal organization has a team of strong Pokémon that can be a difficult challenge for any trainer. Deadly Shadow Pokémon on Sierra's roster can easily be a match for even the best pocket monsters in your collection.

Defeating other Team Rocket grunts will give you the items you need to construct a Rocket Radar needed to face Sierra. This Team Rocker leader, along with Arlo and Cliff in , only appears in a Pokéstop or Rocket Balloon when you have this device in the game. Taking down all three of these trainers will allow you to eventually challenge their leader, the elusive Giovanni.

Some Team Rocket trainers use special creatures called Shadow Pokémon, which can be stronger variants of the normal pocket monsters you already know.
