Harry Potter star Rupert Grint reveals how he's begun to introduce the films to his daughter, Wednesday. It's been a decade since Grint last appeared in the franchise as Ron Weasley, which lasted for a total of eight films and has since spawned spinoff films Fantastic Beasts. Grint recently reunited with his co-stars in a TV special to celebrate 20 years since Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone introduced the beloved wizarding world to the big screen — although fans had some theories that Grint wasn't really there for the HBO special.
Following the success of the final Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, Grint has continued to appear in film and TV. However, casting announcements are seemingly becoming more frequent for the actor since the end of 2021. Since appearing in M. Night Shyamalan's Apple TV show Servant, he's been confirmed for Shyamalan's upcoming thriller Knock At The Cabin alongside Jonathan Groff and Dave Bautista. He will also continue his venture into the horror/thriller genres with Guillermo del Toro's Netflix horror anthology series, Cabinet of Curiosities. In 2020, he perhaps took on his most challenging role yet in becoming a dad, when Grint had a daughter with partner Georgia Groome. He introduced Wednesday to his fans in his first Instagram post, which led to breaking the world record for being the fastest account to reach a million followers on the platform.
