WWE 2K22 boasts one of the most impressive rosters in a WWE game to date, but even with the upcoming DLC, some prominent names are missing from its roster. Although most of the current roster is represented in some way, some fan favorites are noticeably missing. Wrestling games are virtually required to have large rosters due to fan expectations, but unfortunately, the game couldn't feature everyone.
WWE 2K22 had an awful lot to live up to in order to repair the damage that the previous game had done to the series' legacy. WWE 2K20 was so widely panned by both players and critics that 2K skipped making a 2K21 edition entirely in order to focus on fixing issues with the game. While 2K22 is much better than WWE 2K20, one can still notice some issues. One such issue is the absence of some big names in the roster.

Some wrestlers did not make the cut for the roster potentially because they were too obscure, while others may simply be too new for the game. In some cases, wrestlers may not have been added because they had already left the company and made their names elsewhere. However, the exclusion of some names is simply a mystery. Whatever the case may be, the WWE 2K22 roster is missing some rather significant names that should be mentioned.
