A Dragon Quest Builders 2 fan has recreated the cover of the Japanese box art for the game, with the aid of NPCs who took up their correct positions. Dragon Quest Builders 2 is an action RPG and building simulator, which can best be described as Minecraft but with a set story and progression.
Dragon Quest Builders 2 is set in the same world as Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line. A cult known as the Children of Hargon has outlawed building, leading to the realm being left in ruins. The player is a Builder, which means that they possess the ability to design and create items. They are trapped on the mysterious Isle of Awakening, where the player meets an amnesiac boy named Malroth, who fights with the strength of a monster. Together, they attempt to foil the Children of Hargon, and rebuild their world, while also uncovering the mystery of Malroth's past. Dragon Quest Builders 2 is on Game Pass, as well as PC, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.

The Japanese box art for Dragon Quest Builders 2 is different from the international release, as it features a group shot of many of the characters, with the English version just featuring Malroth and the male and female versions of the Builder. A Japanese Dragon Quest Builders 2 fan on Twitter named tsuncom_builder managed to recreate this version of the box art for the game. This recreation includes almost all the details, including most of the NPCs, who were likely quite difficult to place in the shot.
