Fireline Games is currently hard at work on Fueled Up, a co-op multiplayer game that features cosmic calamity in the form of space salvaging with friends. An independent development studio based out of Poland, Fireline Games previously released Intensive Exposure on PC via Steam, providing players with a fast-paced adventure all about exposing one's self while nude and trying to avoid getting caught.
Couch co-op games have been on the rise in recent years, with split-screen experiences taking a back seat throughout the seventh-console generation. The likes of Borderlands, Portal 2, and LEGO-branded adventures kept local multiplayer alive for a time, but the growing popularity of online multiplayer effectively snuffed it out for quite a while. Fortunately, experiences such as Overcooked and A Way Out reinvigorated this particular style of game. And A Way Out developer Hazelight Studios' has especially proven integral in this regard, with its 2021 release of It Takes Two serving as proof positive that players around the world still want to enjoy split-screen games every now and again. Now yet another independent studio is taking up the mantle of bringing back couch co-op.

On the heels of It Takes Two's extraordinary success, 2022 looks as though it will supply players with yet another interesting co-op adventure.
