Horizon Forbidden West's Burning Shores expansion is available now, and we've learned just how big the ruined remnants of Los Angeles really are. In a new video from PlayStation Access, at around the 13-minute mark, we get our first comparison between the base game and Burning Shores.
Burning Shores appear to be about a third the size of the already massive base-game map, which we would dare to venture is a pretty generous offering for a moderately-priced piece of DLC. That being said, we can't yet vouch for how dense the area in question is, which is what really matters, after all.

That's nuts if it's equally dense. Ifaik the base was already bigger than hzd. I can't imagine the expansion is almost hzd size!
Today is release day for Burning Shores. Pre-load has not worked, It says «bought» but it doesn't download, in-game it says «wait to play until Burning Shores is downloaded before you play. Can't download it manually… Ffs I hope Sony get their act together and stop focusing 100% on PC crowd and actually priotirize their hardcore console crowd for a change. PSVR2 controllers that didn't work for over a week after release and now this. They really don't want me as a customer do
