Honkai: Star Rail confirmed the two rerun characters coming in Version 2.0. The two characters will be released alongside Honkai: Star Rail's upcoming five-star characters, Black Swan and Sparkle.
Honkai: Star Rail recently concluded its Version 2.0 Special Program stream, which revealed all the new features that are debuting in its next update. This includes an in-depth look at the new world, Penacony, the Version 2.0 banner characters, and teasers for the continuation of the main story, among many others. Honkai: Star Rail will also treat fans to 20 free pulls in the next update, which was received with much excitement.
Apart from Black Swan and Sparkle, Honkai: Star Rail revealed the upcoming five-star rerun characters for Version 2.0: Imbibitor Lunae during the first phase, and Jing Yuan during the second phase. Both characters were part of the Xianzhou Luofu's High-Cloud Quintet, with Imbibitor Lunae being the alternate identity of Dan Heng.

The Version 2.0 reruns will give players a chance to either pull for their first Imbibitor Lunae and/or Jing Yuan, or get copies to increase the Eidolon levels of their existing characters. They'll also get the chance to get their signature Light Cones if they haven't.
With Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.0 already giving fans 20 free Star Rail Special Passes, these might help them obtain the new five-star characters and rerun characters they want in this update. They could also save the pulls for Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.1 five-star characters Aventurine and Acheron.
