Several details about 2.3 have been revealed, including the patch’s release date, its character banners, story quests, events, and other updates. The turn-based RPG by HoYoverse continues pushing further into its second year of content and is bound to conclude the story arc set in Penacony after the main story quests from Version 2.2. Most of the upcoming content was presented during the 2.3 livestream. While the new characters had already been confirmed, their abilities were outlined during the presentation, confirming most of the leaks about them.
In addition to the new units and the character rerun banners accompanying the debuts, the event also highlighted several of the events that will occur during the patch. There will also be main story quests set on an entirely new map, still within the confines of Penacony. Another noteworthy aspect presented by HoYoverse is its continued investment in quality-of-life updates. Luckily, players do not have to wait too long before they get to experience the content planned for 2.3.

The official release date for Version 2.3 was announced by HoYoverse during the livestream, held on the official channel on YouTube. According to the developer, 2.3 will arrive on June 19 across all platforms on which the game is currently available. This release date follows the title’s six-week schedule for every update and seems to indicate that there were no delays to planning.
With a well-established release date and its contents presented in the special event, it is also unlikely that the next patch will be postponed.
